Arizona Woman Attempted To Kill Husband With Feces

Posted: Updated:

A woman in Arizona attempted a unique crime: injecting fecal matter into her husband's IV while he was recovering from heart surgery.

Rosemary Vogel was caught tampering with her husband IV after the hospital alarm went off.

The police report reads, "Upon inspection, staff found that the IV had a brown substance in the line and immediately removed it from his arm. Rosemary attempted to drain the fluid from the line into a waste basket, but the nurse intervened. The substance was tested in their lab and found to contain fecal matter."

Vogel was arrested for aggravated assault and an attempt of first degree murder. During a search, police discovered syringes and more fecal matter in her bag.
