The pregnant Brooklyn woman who was killed when a private snow plow truck struck her outside a grocery store was nervous about going out during Thursday's Nor'Easter.

Min Lin, 36, and her husband had considered staying home but decided to go out because she had an obstetrician's appointment, roommate Song Qing Huang told the NY Daily News.

The accident happened in the parking lot of Fei Long Market on 8th Avenue in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn at about 10:40 a.m.while Lin was loading groceries into her car, police said.

Police and medics responded and brought Lin to nearby Maimonides Medical Center, where she was declared dead.

Doctors delivered her baby by cesarean section, the AP reported. The the nearly full-term boy was listed in critical condition in the NICU, a hospital spokesperson told the AP.

The NYPD said the driver of the snow plow, which was going in reverse when it hit Lin, remained at the scene.

The driver was not charged but was issued three summonses because the plow did not have an inspection sticker, a headlamp and a license plate, reported News.

"They are a very happy family," Huang told The New York Times in Mandarin. "The son is so smart, the husband works so hard and he's always so busy."

Huang said her husband and Lin's husband both worked for Chinese restaurants in New Jersey and came home about once a week.
