Ricochet the Surfing Dog teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation to grant the wish of a young Florida boy.
Meet 15-year-old Caleb Acosta. He was diagnosed with stage-four brain cancer last July.
"It was really scary especially when they told me about the tumors in my back, in my spine and then losing all feeling in my legs and not being able to walk," Caleb said.
"So there's no scientific cure for it. We're just going through the treatments that are available and hoping for the best," Caleb's mom Cathy Acosta said.
Caleb dreamed of surfing with Ricochet The Surf Dog after seeing him surfing with other disabled children on ESPN.
His mother Cathy was determined to make his wish come true so she contacted ricochet's owner.
From the moment Caleb met Ricochet the Surfing Dog, there was an immediate connection made.
"Just so happy to see my son happy. Today is a great day for our family. It is? Yes. Kiss," Cathy said.
Caleb has had two surgeries, on his back and his brain and needs a wheelchair to get around. The doctors have given him just six months to live.
"Just with God's help anything is possible, so I know he has a plan for me," Caleb said.
