SEPTA Restarts Regional Rails, Limited Bus Service

SEPTA says it has restored Regional Rail service Friday morning following a suspension after 10 p.m. on Thursday night.

Regional Rail lines are operating on a regular weekday schedule, although passengers may experience delays on all lines.

Some bus service is also resuming but remains limited, while other bus routes remain suspended for now. Be sure to check SEPTA's system status on its website for detour and service information.


Route 101 trolleys will only operate between 69th Street and Monroe Street until further notice.

Norristown High-Speed Line service will operate every 15 minutes making stops at all stations. So, there's no express, Hughes Park or Bryn Mawr trips.

The Market- Frankford Line and Broad Street Line are operating on a regular weekday schedule.

CCT is operating a full schedule. Customers may experience delays due to weather conditions. Customers needing to cancel their trips should call 215-580-7720.

Passengers on all lines are being urged to use caution when entering or exiting platforms due to possible slippery conditions.

Patco will be using its Tuesday/Thursday schedule on Friday, according to its website.

Last night, they were operating on a snow schedule with trains running every 24 minutes.

Amtrak will be adding more service along the East Coast to their modified scheduled Friday.

They will operate all Keystone and Springfield shuttle service, most Northeast Regional trains and reduced Acela service.
