NJ Bracing For Another Round Of Winter Weather

Posted: Updated:
MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. -

New Jersey has a messy morning commute as another round of snow has fallen.

The National Weather Service has a winter weather advisory for most areas. Forecasters say 1 to 5 inches of snow is expected, with northern and central areas seeing the highest accumulations.

FOX 29's Jenn Fred drove around Burlington County in New Jersey. Snow has finally stopped after falling all morning. The main roads are looking better and getting plowed; however, the sticky snow accumulation is still affecting some side roads. Be careful when you drive.

The snow will likely change over to freezing rain in most area as the morning progresses, then turn to rain by noon as temperatures rise into the high 30s and low 40s.

However, forecasters say relief from the recent stretch of snow and cold is on the horizon.

Daytime temperatures should be in the high 40s and low 50s for the remainder of the week, though there's a chance for rain nearly every day.
