A former Philadelphia police narcotics officer pleaded guilty to corruption charges Monday, and his arrest could lead to other indictments.
Investigators say Officer Jeffrey Walker was caught last year in an FBI sting operation setting up known drug dealers in order to steal their drugs and cash.
He's now cooperating with prosecutors.
His lawyer says he expects a significant number of indictments to come as a result of his client's cooperation.
"He accepted responsibility today, as he should have, and we've known for quite some time that he was willing to do that, and that's what he did," said defense attorney Thomas Fitzpatrick.
Prosecutor Anthony Wzorek said, "Well, it's outrageous behavior. It's an affront to the citizens of the city and to the other honest members of the Philadelphia Police Department."
Walker was on the force for two decades. Dozens of convictions based on his testimony had to be thrown out.
He's set to be sentenced in May.
