An attack targeting middle school students is caught on video and the young victim tells FOX 29 she's afraid to walk alone.

The school district has taken action against the students involved but the victim's mom says more must be done.

A 14-year-old Wagner Middle School student says she was kicked several times by a large group of older teens from M.L.K. High school.

Her mom Rochelle asked us not to identify her daughter but says she wants this story out there.

"When I saw that video, that set me off, it was like 3 or 4 girls jumping and stomping and kicking," Rochelle said.

She says this is just one of several attacks this school year and she doesn't know why her daughter is being targeted.

"It's getting out of hand for these almost grown women to be jumping on a little girl," Rochelle said.

The School District of Philadelphia launched an investigation.

"We have taken immediate action. We were able to identify the students involved and we have taken disciplinary action against every student," Fernando Gallard, Philadelphia School District Spokesman Said.

The district says some were suspended and expelled but Rochelle says that's not enough

"This was an assault. I want to see them arrested," Rochelle said.

Police continue to investigate the incident and they are working with the School District.
