Last-Minute Flight Change Saves Man From Missing Plane

Posted: Updated:

Greg Candelaria should have flown to Asia to meet his newly-adopted daughter and granddaughter. But he didn't, and now he's grateful for his decision.

Candelaria is a frequent flier for his Global Technologies Services job, and his company has some pretty strict policies on his trips.

He was initially supposed to connect his flights from Spain, but his job made him return to Houston before heading to Beijing.

"Part of my motivation was to fly over there on business and meet my daughter and my new granddaughter in Beijing," said Candelaria. "And I didn't go. Even with that reason being, going to meet my granddaughter in China would've been an amazing experience."

He accredits the coincidence to being supernatural, claming it is an act of God that he is grateful for.

The vanished flight remains unfound.
