But there are some apps that can help take some of the pressure off.
Consumer expert Cassie Slane joined "Good Day Philadelphia" on Thursday morning with four good apps you should download.
College Confidential is a free app that lets you filter colleges by location and major. It has an "Ask the Dean" section and lets you interact with others;
College Visits is another free app to help keep track of all the campuses you visit, rate colleges, take notes, upload photos and share feedback;
Peterson's College Guide's free app includes a timeline to make sure student is on track. It also helps you map a college tour and find colleges that match needs;
And Road2college.com is a resource for parents with expert advice and financial information.
