Delaware Man Charged In String Of Construction Site Burglaries

KENT COUNTY, Del. -

A Delaware was charged Friday for a string of burglaries at residential construction sites.

The investigation began in January after troopers received reports of burglaries where copper wiring and pipes were stolen from homes under construction in Dover, Clayton, and Smyrna.

The intruder forced entry into the partially completed homes, damaging the doors, walls, and windows.

The cooper, pipes, and in one case a gasoline-powered electric generator were all stolen form the homes.

Detectives linked Jimmy Snow, 35, to these crimes and as charged with fourteen counts of burglary third degree and thirty-two related charges.

He was released after posting $7,600 secured bail.

    Summer is not over just yet! Today will be very hot and humid with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and mostly sunny skies.  A cold front will bring some thunderstorms tonight, some of which may be severe.

    Wednesday will be less humid but it remains warm all week long.
