Authorities Search For Clues In NJ Woman's Death

Posted: Updated:
GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. -

The brief gap between winter and the start of true spring weather was a good time for crews to get out and look for clues Monday in the death of a local woman.

Officials from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and the Gloucester Township Police Department searched the area where 59-year-old Carol Reiff's body was found last summer.

Since plants have not started to grow yet, authorities say it's easier to spot clues.

Reiff's body was found in the woods near her home on Lower Landing Road last year.

Officials say they don't know how she died, but they have reason to call her death "suspicious."

There's a $20,000 reward for any information that can help investigators with this case.
