Ambulance Fire Breaks Out Inside EMS Station In Ardmore

ARDMORE, Pa. -

Firefighters are searching for the cause of a fire at an EMS station on Sibley Avenue.

The fire started just after 2 a.m. Friday.

Two volunteers were inside the station when the fire broke out inside a parked ambulance in the garage. When they went to check on the situation, they found the garage full of smoke.

The workers managed to escape without any injuries.

Several fire companies responded to the scene. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The EMS station is out of service and could be for some time.
