PHILADELPHIA -

A University of Pennsylvania basketball player is under arrest, charged in connection with a burglary on campus, authorities say.

Freshman Tony Bagtas, No. 11, was arrested Monday night. Police say he participated in at least one of eight burglaries that took place at the school's quad dorms on streets from 36th to 38th streets along Spruce.

Penn's public safety department says the burglaries happened after students left their dorm rooms unlocked.
