Armed Man Robs 7-11 In East Oak Lane

Northwest Detectives are looking to identify a suspect who robbed a 7-11 in East Oak Lane.

Police responded to the incident happened on March 29 at 7:30p.m at 6771 North 5th Street. Police say they were met by an employee who said than an unknown armed man entered the store while he was behind the counter.

The suspect then approached him and threw a red bag on the counter stating, "you have 15 seconds to give up everything."

After the employee emptied and unknown amount of cash from three registers into the bag the suspect fled on foot and was last seen on south 5th Street.

The incident was captured on camera. Police are looking for a suspect described as a black male, early to mid -20 years of age, 5'8" -5'9," wearing a dark blue baseball cap, dark colored hooded jacket, dark colored pants, and blue latex gloves.
