Philly Rapper Meek Mill Sues The City of Philadelphia

According to TMZ, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill is suing the city of Philadelphia claiming he lost a lot of money in appearance fees and contracts all due to an arrest on Halloween in 2012.

Police detained Mill when they detected marijuana in his car. They then arrested the rapper because he refused to allow the cops to search his vehicle.

Mill claims the police made him lose $22,000 on a private jet flight and another $39,000 appearance fee for a party in Atlanta he missed.

He also claims he was forced to settle for a $650,000 deal with Puma instead of a $2,000,000 dollar deal because the negative publicity

Meek is suing the City of Philadelphia for false imprisonment and invasion of privacy.
