Delaware Troopers Investigate Shore Stop Armed Robbery

Delaware Troopers are investigating an armed robbery of the Shore Stop located on 8900 South DuPont Highway, which occurred early this morning.

The incident occurred 4:45 a.m. Wednesday morning when two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the convenience store.

They approached the 61-year-old male employee and demanded cash and cigarettes. The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency as well as multiple packs of cigarettes.

The duo then fled the business on foot in a southeasterly direction. The male employee was uninjured in this incident.
