Caught On Camera: Dad Pushes Son Down Skateboard Ramp

Posted: Updated:

Jacksonville, FL- The father of a Florida boy caught on a video pushing him off a skating ramp is coming under fire from the Department of Children and Families and the Jacksonville sheriff's office.

"I was pretty disturbed by it, and tried to decide what to do," said the mother of the boy who recorded the incident.

It happened at Kona Skate Park and her son was able to capture it all on tape. The woman didn't want to be identified, but she says what's more shocking is how many times her son saw him do it before.

"The reason my son filmed it is because the father had it done if three times prior to that," she said.

She also says her son reported the incident to the park and she reported it to police.

The owner of Kona, Martin Ramos, says he's already spoken to the man in video.

"We both agreed that is was best that he didn't come around the skate park for a while," he explained.

Ramos also says in his 30 years in the skateboarding world he's never seen anything like this.
