Drivers Face Big Mess in Flooded Maple Shade

Posted: Updated:
MAPLE SHADE, N.J. -

Rivers continue to rise in Maple Shade where drivers are facing a big mess again.

We all survived hurricane season unscathed and survived 20 or so snowstorms, now look at this, welcome to early spring.

On Route 73, which would generally lead all of those tractor-trailers, there is back up of uses and cars going into Philadelphia.

It's happening on two of the four main bridges going into the city. The Tacony-Palmyra Bridge and Betsy Ross Bridge are normally another five minute drive-thru the toll boot from here.

Now all of the heavy traffic is being sent into two local towns, and any little pothole that happened to be on Main Street in Maple Shade is likely crater size now with all of the gas tankers going over it will be sinkhole size unless this clears up.

We are warning people if they live in Moorestown, or Maple Shade and their kids go to schools in the area to be real careful.

There are many vehicles on the road that are typically not on the road, going on crosswalks where children will be crossing.
