Police Arrest Two Suspects In Delaware Home Invasion

Delaware State Police say they have arrested two Lewes, Delaware, men in connection with a home invasion in the Love Creek Mobile Home Park.

According to police, they responded to the 33000 block of Camilla Drive in Love Creek MHP, Lewes around 1:00 a.m. on Monday April 28th after receiving a 9-1-1 call that two subjects had just broken into the residence and confronted the victims with guns.

Police say through interviews with the victims, Nicholas A. Beardsley, 24 of Lewes and Matthias C. Kellner, 26 of Lewes, were established as suspects due to a previous physical altercation that occurred in the park on the 26th in which the male victim and Beardsley were allegedly involved.

Beardsley was taken into custody walking along Cornflower Driver and Kellner turned himself on April 30th.

Both suspects were charged with Home Invasion, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Burglary 1st, three counts of Reckless Endangering 1st, two counts of Aggravated Menacing, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy 2nd, according to police. They are being held on $146,000.00 and $151,000.00 cash bonds.
