This system is out of here early Sunday in time for Mothers' Day. We'll continue to find clear skies across the area throughout the day, and temperatures will warm up nicely, as well.

For Saturday's Dad Vail Regatta races, we should get to 74 degrees by noon and hit 80 later in the afternoon with those scattered showers and storms.

Then, for Mothers' Day, after some early clouds sunshine will be abundant, and we could get to 81 in the afternoon.

Down the shore, those showers and storms look to be later on Saturday, when we'll be in the low 70s. Expect a warmup into the mid-70s on Sunday. Water temperatures, however, are still in the 50s.

A summer preview arrives as we move into early next week.

"We could make a run for 90 degrees," Williams said.
