Two Men Wanted For Deadly Shooting In Haddington

Philadelphia Police are looking for two men involved in a deadly shooting in Haddington.

On Sunday, November 29, 2009, Officers responded to a radio call for a "Report of a Shooting" at 6100 Market Street. Upon their arrival, Officers located the victim (Omar Williams 32-year old male from the 5300 block of Thomas Avenue) seated in the driver's seat of a silver Honda.

Williams was suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso; he was pronounced at 5:09 AM, on the scene by Medic 9B.

On December 1, 2010, Darian Brown, 20-year old male from the 1700 block of Paxon Street, was arrested and charged in connection with the murder of Williams. Brown was charged with Murder and related offenses.

On April 9, 2011, Anthony Washington, 24-year old male from the 5600 block of Addison Street was arrested and charged with the murder of Williams. Washington is charged with Murder and related offenses.

On May 8, 2014, the Homicide Unit issued warrants for William Childs 28-year old male from the 100 block of N Dewey Street and James Newsome 24-year old male from the 7000 block of Cedar Avenue.

Childs and Newsome are wanted in connection with the murder of Omar Williams; both males are to be considered armed and dangerous.
