Police: Blind Man Attacked, Robbed In Northern Liberties

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police are looking for the person who allegedly attacked a blind man with a rock in Northern Liberties at approximately 12:06 a.m. on Thursday night.

Investigators say the 44-year-old was about to walk into his house when he was hit in the back of the head with a rock.

The attacker then reportedly stole the victim's wallet and iPhone.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, in his 40's, 5'9", slim to medium build, black jacket, jeans, beard with no mustache.

The victim was taken to Hahnemann hospital where he's in stable condition with a serve head wound.
