Muhlenberg Township Police Search For Suspect In Strong Armed Robbery

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. -

Muhlenberg Township police are searching for a suspect in a strong armed bank robbery.

Police say a woman walked into the M&T Bank on Pottsville Pike in Muhlenberg Township on Saturday, May 17th and demanded cash.

According to police, the woman yelled at the bank tellers saying she wanted large bills, and that it wasn't a joke.

Police describe the suspect as approx. 5'4" tall with a thin build, in her mid-to-late 20's with dark hair.

She was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, a hat with a light colored brim, white sneakers, sunglasses and a pair of red Phillies gloves.
