Young Baseball Fan Tricks Girl With His Generosity

Posted: Updated:

ARLINGTON, T.X. – A young baseball fan sitting in the front row at a game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers this past Saturday evening pulled off the play of the game from his seat!

The boy was given a foul ball that had been snagged bare-handed by the Toronto third base coach. Video shows him then turn around and give a ball to a young woman seated in the row behind him.

However, the television announcers caught on to something strange about his delivery of the ball, as he never took the ball he had received out of his glove. Instead, the videos showed that he took a decoy ball that he had already had in his hand and gave that to the young woman, pretending it was the game ball.

The woman and her friends all gawked at the adorable gesture, unaware that they had been duped. You can even see the boy waving his hand over his head in the video while talking to his friend, indicating that his trick had not been caught onto by the women.

The Blue Jays went on to win 4-2.
