Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed early Monday afternoon after being struck by a passing mini-van, as 54-year-old Stuart Moore.

Moore, an employee at the Girard Beer Distributor on the 800 block of Girard, was helping a truck back up when he was struck.

The driver of the van, 64-year-old Ronald Mason, is now charged with driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter, according to police.
