Police: Deadly Crash May Have Involved Rape Suspect

Posted: Updated:

Police are investigating a deadly crash in Kensington and whether the victim may have been a suspect in a crime.

Police say the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on Boudinot Street when he failed to negotiate a turn and slammed into a fence. The driver died on impact.

Police haven't identified the victim yet, but say they've received information that the vehicle involved in the crash may have been connected to a rape that occurred overnight on the 2600 block of Collins Avenue.

FOX 29's Jennifer Joyce has more details in this live report from the scene.
