Police: Woman Pushed, Robbed By Bicyclists In Glassboro

GLASSBORO, N.J. -

The Glassboro Police Department say they are searching for two suspects who pushed a woman to the ground and robbed her of her wallet and cash on Sunday, May 18th at approximately 3:25 p.m.

Police say the suspects were riding BMX style bikes when they approached the woman, 26, while she was innocently walking along Grove Street in Glassboro.

The victim was not injured in the incident.

The suspects fled on bicycles east on Grove St. and were last seen making a left onto S. Academy St.

On Wednesday, police released a composite sketch of one of the men believed to be one of the suspects.

The victim described one of the suspects as a black male in his late teens, 5’10’-6. ft., thin, athletic build. The suspect is also described as having blue eyes, with a large mole or growth on the left side of his neck. He is said to have a tattoo of playing cards on one of his hands, according to the victim.
