Police Release Surveillance Video of Washington Square Burglary Suspect

Washington Square - Police are looking to identify the suspect for a residential burglary in Washington Square. On Tuesday, May 20 at 2:55 pm, an unknown male was captured on surveillance video approaching a residence on the 1100 block of Rodman Street. In the clip, he rings the doorbell to see if anyone was inside.

When no one answers the door the suspect gained entry by forcing open the front door. Once inside the suspect searches the residence taking electronics, jewelry, valuables and cash then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Police say the suspect appears to be a Black male, 30-40 years-of-age, short hair, with a beard. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, white t-shirt with a black design on the front, tan shorts, and white sneakers.
