Police: Two Men Wanted For Auto Theft in Fishtown

The Philadelphia Police Major Crimes Auto Squad is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two suspects for auto theft in Fishtown.

On May 13 at 12:10 pm, the complainant parked and locked his 2008 Jeep Wrangler on the 100 block of West Thompson Street.

A short time later when thee complainant returned to his vehicle he noticed his vehicle missing.

Surveillance video recovered from the area depicted an unknown male approaching the complainant's vehicle and gaining entry through the left rear vinyl window panel.

As the suspect is gaining entry a second suspect approaches and hands the suspect #1 an object then walks away.

Soon after gaining entry the suspect starts the complainant's vehicle and fled the area and was last seen traveling east on Thompson Street then north on Hancock Street.

Suspect #1 is a white male, dark hair, wearing a blue t-shirt, white shorts, and gray shoes. Suspect #2: White male, dark hair, wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and dark colored shoes.
