Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s help to locate a suspect responsible for the robbery at the Citizens Bank.

The Citizens branch is located at 7248 Rising Sun Avenue in Burholme section of Philadelphia.

On May 22, 2014, at 1:10 p.m., the suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note. The note said he had a gun, but no weapon was physically showed.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the bank.

The description of the suspect is a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5’7”-5’8” tall and 160-170 pounds, dark complexion, wearing a dark blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gray jogging pants, grayish baseball cap, and latex gloves.

Authorities believe the suspect is responsible for the March 3, 2014 robbery of the same Citizens Bank branch.

Anyone with information about these robberies or the suspect is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
