By Sunday morning, we're looking at a much improved day and sunshine. There could again be an isolated shower, but things get better weather-wise each and every day for the coming weekend. The high will be 79.

As for Memorial Day itself on Monday, we're looking at a lot of sunshine and a high of 84, so your outdoor plans are looking good. We're calling it a "10" on our "Forecast by the Numbers."

At the shore, we'll start the weekend with a few scattered shower and temperatures in the upper-60s, although water temperatures remain in the lower-60s. We should warm up to the low-70s Sunday and mid-70s Monday.

Rainfall chances also exist Saturday up the mountains. Then sunshine returns Sunday, and we'll get to 74 Sunday and 77 on Monday.

"Don't forget the sunscreen if you will be outdoors," Williams said.

Oak, mulberry and grasses will be the primary culprits for allergy sufferers this weekend. Our allergy report puts us in the "Medium" category through the weekend.

Scattered showers and pop-up thunderstorms return to start the workweek. We'll stay warm at 84 on Tuesday, then drop into the 70s Wednesday and Thursday before getting back to 81 on Friday.
