DOVER, Del. -

Delaware State Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple burglaries in the North Dover area.

The incidents took place between Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th during the early morning hours.  Police say the suspect, described as a black male, smashed the windows of the front doors leading into three separate businesses.

China Kitchen, located at 4600 North DuPont Highway was broken into early Saturday morning and had an undisclosed amount of money taken from a register. On Sunday morning, business China Wok and My Happy Nails, both located at 96 Salt Creek Drive in the Salt Creek Shopping Center and just across the highway from China Kitchen, were broken into.

In those incidents, sums of money was removed from China Wok and business documents were removed from My Happy Nails.

Surveillance photos shows the suspect with a blanket or a sheet entering into the China Kitchen. The suspect is then seen fleeing in a white Ford Expedition heading north on North DuPont Highway.

If anyone has any information on this subject or these incidents, they are asked to contact Det. William Miller at 302-741-2807.
