The woman seen on video being followed, stalked then grabbed by a man she says then tried to sexually assault her is speaking out. She wants to remain anonymous.
"He grabbed me from behind. He held a metal thing up to my head," recalls the victim.
She details the horrifying moment when the suspect pulled her into an opening between two homes in her Mayfair neighborhood and assaulted her. A neighbor's home security camera captured it.
"The farthest he got was he did pull down my pants but by that time my neighbor was coming out and she stopped it and she chased him off," said the victim. It happened in the early morning hours of May 17th.
Since then, police say there have been two other sexual assaults on women in the Mayfair and Oxford Circle area.
"There are enough similarities in these cases certainly to cause alarm," said Captain John Darby with Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit. Friday police put out a crime alert bulletin warning the community.
"The suspect threatens to kill right away," warned Captain Darby. The latest attack happened Wednesday night to a 20 year old woman who had just gotten off a Septa bus. The suspect dragged her behind Our Lady Of Ransom Church where police say he hit her repeatedly and sexually assaulted her.
"It is scary. It's very scary," said a couple. They are terrified about what's happening in their neighborhood.
"You have to watch your back every time you walk. It's something that you would never expect," said Kaitlyn Maloney. Her fiance Chad Ferguson said, "My heart goes out with what he did to these three women."
Police will be in the neighborhood over the weekend with increased patrols and passing out warning bulletins.
