Paper Airplane Finds Target At Soccer Match

Posted: Updated:
UNITED KINGDOM- Soccer games have always been touted as boring sporting events.

Fans at Wembley Stadium found a way to entertain themselves on Friday when England beat Peru 3-0.

Perhaps the most exciting portion of the game from the stands, when a fan folded up what appeared to be a poster, into an incredibly successful paper airplane.

From the video, it is apparent that the paper plane technician was seated way up in the nosebleeds, when he launched his creation towards the field.

After several moments of floating paper, and rising anticipation, the paper plane turned warplane strikes a player standing roughly 20 yards shy of midfield, right in the side of his head.

The crowd surrounding the thrower erupts with joy, following a successful mission.

The video also shows the point of impact as seen on the games television coverage, which include a flinching reaction from the planes victim.
