Occupants Were Home During North Phila Home Burglary

Police are investigating a home burglary in North Philadelphia.

On June 22 at 11:00pm, an unknown black man was captured on surveillance video approaching a private residence on the 1800 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

He is seen in the clip gaining entry through the front door then exiting the property.

Police say approximate two hours later, the suspect returned and forced entry into a third floor apartment while the occupants were home.

Once inside the occupants locked themselves in their bedrooms while the suspect took items from the apartment. He eventually left the apartment, and fled on his bicycle in an unknown direction
