Local Boy Battling Rare Cancer Passes Away

Posted: Updated:
LEVITTOWN, Pa. -

Fox 29 recently told about  5-year-old Franky Talley who was battling a rare cancer. We are sad to report that Franky passed away on Wednesday morning.

The boy from Levittown was fighting a cancer called called DIPG, which impacted the brain stem.

Just like any 5-year-old, Franky Talley loved the thrill of Halloween night, going door-to-door in costume for candy.

However, the family of the boy feared he might not live to see his favorite holiday, so the community held a special Halloween celebration on May 9th for Franky.

The Lower Bucks County boy was the Hulk of super heroes and Disney characters And his family said the Halloween celebration meant everything to them.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donation towards his headstone. If you wish to donate, please visit http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/team-franky/72787
