FOX 29 Weather Authority Weekend Forecast

Posted: Updated:

It's hard to believe that we're talking about the last weekend of June already, but the month is going to end on a nice note, FOX 29 Chief Meteorologist Scott Williams says.

By Saturday morning, there's a lot of sunshine around.

"If you have outdoor plans, festivals or events, no weather worries. Just stay hydrated, and also don't forget that sunscreen," Williams said.

Bottom line, we're looking at a pretty seasonable day with a high of 85 degrees in Philadelphia, low humidity values and mostly sunshine.

And we'll be right back at 85 Sunday, so we're calling it a pair of "10s" on our "Weather by the Numbers!"

In the Poconos, there could be a mix of sun and clouds around Saturday afternoon, but it looks dry, as does Sunday. Highs will be right around 80.

There will be a lot of sunshine down the shore, where we'll also be approaching 80 both days. Water temperatures are on the rise, as well, now at 74.

The FOX 29 Weather Authority seven-day forecast shows a "9" for Monday, but the humidity is already creeping back up.

It's hot and hazy at mid-week with 90-degree days possible, along with pop-up showers and storms.

But the humidity looks to be dropping again for the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday, which looks nice with a high in the upper-80s.
