Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm fire that broke out on the 2100 block of Long Beach Boulevard in Ship Bottom, Ocean County shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm fire that broke out on the 2100 block of Long Beach Boulevard in Ship Bottom, Ocean County, shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

SkyFox was live over the scene. Fox 29 is told it's a law office on fire.  As of 5 p.m., firefighters were still dousing the building with water. The smoke and the flames look to be dying down.

Long Beach Police say to avoid the area of 21st and Long Beach Blvd. due to the fire and police activity. In the meantime, Central Ave. is the suggested alternate route.

No word on what caused the fire.
