Philadelphia Police are searching for two men who robbed Rathe Auto Service in Olney.
On Monday, July 14, 2014, at 8:15 pm, a 37 year-old man, along with his girlfriend, a 26 year-old woman and her two children ages six and seven years-of-age, were inside Rathe Auto service located at 5105 North 2nd Street when two unknown black males with hoods and masks on their faces entered the office.
Once inside the suspects demanded money when the woman began to scream.
When the male went toward the office, suspect #1 walked out of the office pointing a handgun at him, He then grabbed the suspect attempting to pull him outside and away from his children and girlfriend.
After the victim was able to force the suspect outside, they began to struggle when the suspect struck him in the left side of his head with the butt of the handgun.
A fight continued and the victim eventually broke free from suspect#1, both suspects fled from the Auto shop on foot without taking anything and were last seen north on 2nd Street.
