Family of fatal hit and run victim looks to public for help

LIVONIA, Mich. (WJBK) -  The family of a Detroit man, struck and killed in a hit and run accident, is desperate for answers.

Dennis Ryan, 64, was riding his bike home after visiting his son May 19th when he was struck by a hit and run driver.

It happened at Newburg Road and Schoolcraft on the I-96 freeway overpass.
 
Today, Crime Stoppers announced a $2,500 reward for information in the case.

Ryan's family said he had a big heart, and loved his family.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
