Next Stop Williamsport!

Philadelphia's Taney Dragons are heading to the Little League World Series!

The Dragons were able to knock off the Delaware Newark National team 8-0 on Sunday night in the Mid Mid-Atlantic Regional Final in Bristol, Connecticut.

Female Pitcher Mo'Ne Davis shine under the spotlight, and was able to shut out Newark in her six innings on the mound.

Davis also had six strikeouts to go along with just three walks, and three hits.

The Dragons put up six runs in the first three innings thanks to RBIs from Jared Sprauge-Lott, Zion Spearman, and Jack Rice. Spearman scored after stealing home.

Sprauge-Lott finished with 3 RBIs on his two hits.

Taney's next opponent will be South Nashville, who won the Southeast Region earlier this week.

That game will be played on Friday August 15th at 3:00 p.m. at Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
