Man Attacked Inside Frankford Chinese Restaurant

Police are looking for suspects wanted for a robbery in the city's Frankford neighborhood.

A 51-year old-male went inside the Lucky Garden Chinese store located at 4671 Frankford Avenue to place a food order on Aug. 12 at 11:30 pm,.

While he was inside, police say an unknown man entered the store and asked him for a cigarette light. When the 51-year old man refused, the suspect left the store.

A short time later, the suspect came back to the store and began punching the man in the head and chest.

During the attack, a second man wearing a black T-shirt entered the store helping the first suspect by going into the victim's pockets and taking his wallet, which contained identification and $300.

After taking the wallet, both suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim suffered from injuries to his forehead and complained of pain in his ribs.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male between the ages of 25 and 30, with a stocky build and a light-brown complexion. He was wearing a red Phillies T-shirt with “Werth 28” in white, black shorts, and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 20- to 25-years-old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He wore a black T-shirt, jeans and black shoes.
